Holly was a rescue from a college student who kept her in a closet all the time. She was born in November 2003. She loves people, hates other dogs and she's a 'growler' - always has been. She has 'separation anxiety' so I get growled at every time I go to work. She will turn her back on me and pout, too. But only when I have to go to work. She never left my side (ever) when I had neck surgery in 2010. She's my best friend!

This is so weird!!! My rescue is named Holly, and I clicked on your Holly's pic because I though they looked alike. THEN, I read your bio: yours is a sometime "growler" and has separation anxiety. That is exactly MY Holly, too!!! Mine stayed at 17 lbs. tho. Still, what a coincidence!!! Thank you for rescuing your baby; I LOVE that you said she is your best friend!!!

Holly is so cute. My 10 yr old Rott/Ger.Shep mis Ward Burton went across the Rainbow Bridge last Sept. He also had anxiety issues. He was so afraid of thunder due to firecrackers he would tear down the fence or door. You are beautiful Holly.
