Holly was abandoned in Texas at about 5 weeks old. We were looking for a companion for our six year old yellow Lab, Sydney, so we gladly adopted her and flew her back to Los Angeles. I'm working on a series about the history of American film for Turner Classic Movies. The owner of the building we're in said, "You have to name her 'Hollywood'!" So she's 'Holly' for short. There is a debate on her breed. Some have said she's a Lab, others a Golden Retriever, other a mix of the two. We'll see, but we think she's probably pure Lab or 75% Lab/25% Golden Retriever. No matter what she is, we love her and her big sister adores her.
