Indiana was found in a field and was sadly the only survivor in his litter. We rescued him when he was 3 months old and are so lucky to have him in our lives! He's named after Indiana Jones for several reasons, but the best part about it is telling everyone, "We named the dog Indiana," with a Sean Connery impression (a quote Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade). It's also fun when he gets his sudden bursts of energy and runs laps around the apartment, which we call the Indy 500. When he's not running in circles and chasing his tail, he is curled up and cuddled on our laps. We have no idea what sort of mix he is. The rescue organization we adopted him from claimed Retriever/Pointer, but we've heard Australian Cattle Dog, Dachshund, Chihuahua, and a few other breeds from the many intrigued people he has met. Whatever he is, he's a lovable bundle of joy!
