Iris, Ivy and Shavon von Engel

Mixed (unknown)

The largest Iris, has the more narrow muzzle. She loves to cause trouble between the sisters and is always wanting to tackle one or both no matter what they are doing. She is also more of the alpha then Ivy, but does have a very gentle, caring side when one of her sisters yelp or cry. She loves to try and get the big dogs to play with her and really enjoys jumping on Angel when she is trying to take a nap. She also has a tail fetish with the big dogs. Anytime they walk by, she tries to take a tug at it. One thing Iris does that Faith used to do is when you tell her no, or discipline her, she does this little chomp with her mouth. It looks like she tries to bite you for fun but never touches you. Its almost as if she is laughing at me and telling me to just take a chill pill. Next in line is Ivy. She is a total sweetie pie. She like Iris loves to play hard and will do what it take to win when she plays. She love to play tug a war with toys and will carry her prize around in her mouth when she does win. She has a little prance when she has a toy that she just took away from one of her sisters. She is also a water and food hog. It doesn't matter that I put three food dishes down, she will always go eat from one of her sisters dishes then guard hers so they can't have any from her. She enjoys putting her whole body into the water dish, tipping over water dishes and putting toys in the water dish. She loves to give kisses to the big dogs. She will chase Angel around trying to put her muzzle into Angels. Also when one of the big dogs drink from the water dish, she tries to lick their mouths to get any drops before they fall. Last is our little runt Shavon. She is a little diva. She wants to be held all the time. When you do pick her up and hold her, she will snuggle into your arms but will do this whimper till she falls asleep. She is also the barker in the group. When anyone comes near the kitchen or enters the house she will bark like a great guard dog. Out of the three, she is the most clinging. She wants to be with me more then the other dogs, even when I brought them outside. The other two girls, love going outside and getting into all kinds of mischief. So far her sisters have figured how to get into my little garden area and dig some nice holes and pull out my potato plants. Just today Iris has a little brown ring around her nose giving her away to her digging. Shavon would rather lay on the kitchen floor and chew up the rug, stuffed toy or just lay in an empty lap. All of them are curious and have a blast running in the backyard with the big dogs. They try and mimic some of the things the big dogs do, yet when the big dogs bark at something, they all go running back into the house with tails between the legs. When all is quiet, they slowly go back outside and continue to frolic in the grass and get nice and muddy. Inquiries for Adoptions from Southern California Residents only at this time.
