Just a few short days after we lost our dog DeeDee we knew we had to open our home and our hearts to a dog that needed a home. I went onto petfinder and was immediatly smitten with Lizzy, a red and white border collie/golden mix. At first we thought we were moving too fast and maybe we wouldn't be ready, but we took the time to go visit her anyway. She was awesome! After a home visit the next day, she was ours for keeps! Of course we had to change her name, since mine is Liz... We wanted to keep it similar, so we chose Izzy, but her official name is Izabelle. She and Gibbs get along so well! It's great to see two puppies play together all day and cuddle together at night. I know they're going to be best friends! I can't believe how lucky we are to have Isabelle in our lives. She made our hearts whole again!
