Best dog in the world. We adopted him from a shelter when he was just a puppy and has been a part of our family for 7 years. He gentle and friendly and loves everyone. Especially his best friend, Owen. Jack loves to sit in the yard and protect the house. He's a calm and quiet and great around all people and both dogs and cats.

Jack looks so intelligent and good natured. Collie chows are a wonderful mix. I had a 100-lb. female, Elsa, that was like no other dog I'd ever seen when it came to her protection techniques. She would escort the visitor to our property, no barking just walking next to them, until my husband or I "took over" then she would lie down, content we had things under control. Elsa was fantastic with kids, big as she was she was incredibly gentle. She helped with a litter of foster kittens, I believe it was because of her "mothering" that they were so well adjusted. And she was even a good trusty friends with a guinea pig. She would watch him as he pranced around her, the pig was in love with Elsa. So was I! A wonderful combination of breeds. Jack reminds me so much of her.

What a great breed. He's so cute and fluffy. I'm a sucker for chows. People think they are over protective, I think it's just because they are so smart and in tune to everything. I swear my golden retriever chow is half human with her facial expressions and how I talk to her and she does everything I say. I wish you years and years of fun together!!!!
