This is Jack. Jack was born on Jan. 15, 2005. Jack is my husbands dog. He goes to work with him everyday. If he has to stay home, he cries for my husband all day. Jack is half blind. His legs are shorter in the front, because of this he sometimes has hard times with his legs. He looks and acts a lot older than he really is. He is a good dog. My kids love him. Jack lets them climb and pay with him all the time. He loved to sleep on the couch and his snoring is so bad that when we are watching tv someone needs to be sitting right next to him, so he can wake him up every once in a while to stop snoring. He is very funny. He also loves to eat...

What a special sweetie-pie, and a special character! He's a handsome dog, and I'm so glad he's got such a special family, that loves him all the more for his health issues, as that does make him special.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is horrible that the little man had to go through all that, but you know he loved you and knew he was loved. It is so hard to have your buddy for such a short time. I adopted a baby greyhound who had so physical disablities and the little guy wasn't suppose to live more than a week the breeder thought. That little man, Peanut, lived just about to his 2nd b-day but than got sick and passed away. I don't regret it for a second and I am sure you don't regret Preston for one min. In honor of Peanut I have and will continue to adopted unwanted "special needs" dogs. I understand how much you can miss them because they are your family sometimes even closer :)
