This is my dog Joey. He is very sweet. Joey is only 40 pounds, but he has a mean bark. He is a very good guard dog. I found him as a stray just over a year ago. He was scared of men. He had burn spots on his shoulders. Someone had melted one of his ears. When I found him, I knew it hadn't been very long since it had happened. Because his ear was still bleeding. Joey is all healed now. All of his burn marks are gone. Except that he can't stick up the ear that was burned. I love him, and I'm glad I found him.

Bless your heart for saving Joey! I will never understand animal cruelty, just shows what kind of people they are!! I hope Joey has recovered from all those bad memories. Some will probably be with him forever but your love will carry him thru! Thank you again for saving him & loving him!

Joey is absolutely adorable, thank you for finding room for him in your life and saving his. How can anyone treat another life like that, I will never understand, but it ended happy for him, thankfully. He reminds me of my Ronan, they both hold their ears back a bit. Give Joey a hug and kiss on the head from me.

Joey is absolutly adorable and im vary glade you found him! Without you who know's what could have happend to this little guy! He is a handome little boy too !I think he might have a mean bark because he was abused when he had a diffrent family. But im glade he is in someone like you to take care of him and love him:)
