Kahlua was born March 8, 2011. She loves to go for long walks and play with other puppies at the dog park. She starts barking and whining once the car turns a few blocks away from the dog park because she knows exactly where she is going! When her human mom brought home a baby raccoon that had been orphaned, she watched over him and licked him clean as if he was her own baby. She refused to leave his side! Kahlua sometimes gets scared of big humans when they try to pet her, but is always happy to see kids and is very gentle with them. She lets them pull at her ears and tail! She eats only the most delicious foods- chicken, beef, veggies. Don't try to give her any of that plain dry food junk, though!

Kahlua looks like a sweetheart, and sounds like one as well. I do hope that children are not permitted to pull her tail or ears, as she may grow to dislike children very quickly, and rightly so! It would be a shame to see that tender heart of hers changed because children are not taught to respect her as a living creature with feelings. Having had a rescue GSD myself, many years ago, I know how afraid he was of children, and men. He was abused because of children at the hands of men. It was very sad to see, as he was the sweetest fellow. Good luck to you and Kahlua. She is very beautiful! Hugs from Oliver & Henry, and their Mum, in London, Ontario.

Kahlua you are just absolutely b eautiful. I love coated GSD's. What are you wearing? Are you going to a rugby game? You sound like the most wonderful dog and a tribute to your breed. A long and happy and healthy life to you. Just tell your family to keep their little hands off your magnificent ears and tail and to treat you like the noble creature you are.
