I came into the Fort Irwin Vet clinic as a lost puppy on Christmas 2012. I am only about 5 months old, and am afraid of everything. My new mom fell in love with me and took on the challenge to rehabilitate me, and now I am a happy, playful girl who loves my new family!

Kashi is just beautiful! We had 2 Akita rescues - a brother & sister - that lived to be nearly 14. Akitas are loving and very protective and loyal - she will be even more so since you rescued her!! Thank you for rescuing such a beautiful girl!

Thank you! I just love Kashi! She was so terrified when she first came in to the vet clinic where I work. We think she was abused and had little to no interaction with people. It has definately been a challenge working with her, but she is a darling and so worth the effort! She's been with me now for a month, and has completely adjusted to life at home; it's socializing and interacting with other people that still needs work. Anyway, thank you for the comments! I just love her!
