Kayla was found in an alley behind a dumpster at 9 weeks old and we adopted her a week later. We usually rescue older dogs and were leery about a puppy because my husband is disabled, but Kayla has become his physical therapist. He can't say to those brown eyes and that Akita howl when she wants to play ball or chase. Kayla loves to run and play with other dogs, and she adores kids. She greets everyone with kisses and then rolls over and gives her belly. Her nickname is Kiss Kiss Kayla. We have two older dogs but she's our furry "baby".
