Kira and her little brother Koda are our babies. I swear they are treated better than some children; but, I figure, if you have dogs, then it is your responsiblity to take the absolute best care of them. And we definitely live by that rule. Kira is our "go to" girl. She is the best dog and has been since we adopted her at 6 months. She was abused as a puppy and taken away from her original owner; boy, was it their loss and our gain! We have enjoyed every single minute with Kira. She is always so excited to see us when we come home, whether we've been gone ten minutes or ten days, and shows us with this "body wiggle"- her entire body shakes uncontrollably. It definitely makes coming home after work worthwhile. She obeys, protects, and gives us unconditional love...and our lives have been made better because of her.
