Kovu is a rescue dog my sister brought home. When we got him he was about 8 or 9 weeks old and was suffering from mange and a host of other problems brought on by neglect and by not receiving any medical care what so ever. We nursed him back to health and fell in love. He's now almost 2 years old and he's a member of the family. It's hilarious watching Punky (a 12 lb shih tzu) boss Kovu (a 100 lb beast) around while Jack watches like he's at a tennis match. We love them all to bits.
