We adopted Kyra from the local shelter. We went to the shelter and there she was calm and quiet and so cute with one ear up and one ear down. We waited a week while we decided if it was time to add a third dog to the household. When we went back, there she was waiting for us, we took that as a sign she was meant for us. We signed all the paperwork and they brought Kyra out to us, and that calm dog was bouncing off the walls, I think she tricked us! Eventough she's eaten the carpet, a mattress, a chair and too many pillows to mention I wouldn't trade her for anything. It soon became obvious that Kyra needed a middle name since she was in trouble so much. You know how as a kid you always knew you were in trouble when mom and dad used your middle name. So Kyra became Kyra Jo. 8/2010 - We took a DNA test to confirm Kyra's breeds and learned she is a mix of collie/husky/corgi/lab/weimeraner.
