Leah came home with me Jan 28 , 2009 . She was born in northern Florida & I found her via the internet . The first time I held her as a pup , she put her little paws on my chin & started licking my nose . The breeder said " Well , I guess she has picked you " and that settled it . Leah came home with me 2 weeks later when she got her health cert. Leah can certainly be a handfull . She loves to run REALLY fast & could play tug-o-war all day long until your arms feel like rubber bands . We are still going through the chewing stage , unfortunately . Apparently , Palm trees are a culinary delight !! We used to have 3 , 8 foot tall potted Palms in our livingroom . I sometimes wonder if Leah may be part woodchuck or possibly have some beaver mixed in there somewhere .
