Lily was born December 6th, 2007, and we took her into our family in April of 2008. Since living with us, she has had a happy life, but unfortunately the conditions she knew for her first four months were less than we had hoped for. Lily was the last of her litter to go to a good home, and she lived outside in a barn with many other dogs of varying breeds and ages. The first time she had had a bath was the day we went to pick her up, and so she was never socialized or introduced to the way humans live and love their puppies. She was skittish and unsure for a very long time, but has made leaps and bounds of improvement! Though she's a quirky girl, we love her dearly. He favorite things are oversized stuffed animals, her swimming pool, and snowballs.
