All in the Family

Biography: After my daughter had adopted a wonderful dog from a shelter, I had decided that I would never purchase another dog. I went along with my daughter to several kill shelters looking for a young dog/puppy since I have three grandchildren and a cat at my home. I left these places crying, looking into all their faces just asking for someone to give them a home. I found a lady that had rescued a Jack Russell/Pit Bull mix that was a three months old and had been in a kill shelter until she got a call to try to find this beautiful puppy a home. I fell in love with her when I put her in my lap and she looked up into my eyes and gave me the best puppy kiss! I had tears running down my face and my daughter said, this is the one! This puppy went straight to my grandson and you could just see how much she loved children. I brought her home and she is so sweet and very smart! She loves for me to hold her in my arms when she sleeps! We love our adopted sweet Lizzy!
