Lou is a very sweet girl who gets very nervous around new people, but who loves her two moms more than anything. She also loves to run and wrestle with her doggie friends in Prospect Park in the mornings. Afterwards, she is very happy to stay inside the rest of the day, chewing on her toys. We had a rough start after bringing her home from the pound, but she's growing up and settling down more each day. We have no idea what kind of dog she is, other than a pure mutt, and we can't imagine being without her!

I am going to guess this is Lou's best bud Bjorn, (terrific) name! This photo has brought tears to my eyes as Bjorn looks so much like my Daisy. She has more black in her, a black and tan coonhound?mix. It is the friendship and comfort seen in this shot that is so very moving to me. We adopted our hounds from rescue situations and we already had two Labs and they all welcomed each other into their new families....and some people don't think these creatures think and feel! Happy to have seen your wonderful dogs and here's wishing you more rescues in your lives.
