Lou-Lou was born Nov. 2000 and is a spayed female Shih-Tzu who's been a mom to two litters of puppies in her life. She eats a raw food diet and lives with her boyfriend (father of the both litters of puppies) Beau, along with their human "parents". Lou-Lou is not AKC registered because her mom was Canadian and was CKC registered then the human master never registered Lou-Lou with AKC when her litter was born. Lou-Lou was an only puppy also, no others in her litter.

What is a raw food diet for a dog?

They don't eat normal processed foods... they eat raw meat & organic kibbles.

I thought I had answered here also, not sure what happened to my post. Yes Beau and Lou-Lou eat about a handful of raw hamburger once per day, each, or ground chicken. Then they also munch on INNOVA brand Red Meat small bites kibble. They also love raw bones and we give those occasionally. I'd recommend raw to anyone for their dogs and dogs intestinal tracts are short and they process the meat very fast. They've also not had any issues with fleas or ticks since going raw and we do not use any flea/tick products - been over 3 years since they've had a flea. :)
