Lucy (RC's Spike It Lucy) is the first of our retired racing greyhounds. She raced in Tucson, and was adopted in June of 2005. Lucy won quite a few races, and took to retirement like a champion. She joined Charlie, a lab/hound mix from the CCSPCA. Lucy is the FUNNIEST of our greyhounds, and loves to run around the house with her green dog like a maniac while the rest of us pretend not to notice. Her 10th birthday has included a bit of hearing loss, and definite gray-face! Lucy is a great representative of retired greyts. Lucy's 11th Birthday - Happy Birthday Lulu! - has only celebrated her greytness, with a bit of ... crankiness in regard to her new brother, Andy.

I am sorry! I did not realize that Lucy had passed over TO Rainbow Bridge! I AM SURE THAT HER LOVING MEMORY IS ALWAYS CLOSE TO YOUR HEART!

We still have Lu, it was our Charlie who has passed - I guess my comment was confusing! Lucy is 8 (this month) and still having the time of her life. Charlie is the irritated yellow lab mix in the first photo :)
