I am sorry for your loss. I didn't read before I posted. He was just so very beautiful I wanted to comment on him. Please know many of us feel the same way about irresponsible breeders. They are just in it for the money, not the betterment of the breeds. God bless you in your sorrow.

The Cervical Spondylopathy probably wasn't caused by breeding, it is where you jerk at the neck and damage the vertebrae in the neck and spinal bone. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, he was truly a beautiful boy who looked like he had such a great life.

I'm sorry for the loss you had with Luther. One of my companions passed away yesterday and it's been awhile since I've felt the pain and almost forgot how it was too loose a friend. Tango!, it may be because of the jerking on the neck but Cervical Spondylopathy can be caused by genetics and it is most common like that. It can also be caused by mal-nutrition and feeding the dog a crappy food brand. I've never really heard of it happening because of jerking the dogs collar but alright than. It can also be because Luther is a large breed dog and he grew a little too quickly. Luther could of been cured if you had noticed the signs earlier and you could of got him into surgery, but it's not your fault. Sorry again for Luther.

OMG! Luther was so gorgeous and I'm very sorry for your loss! Yes, sometimes it is caused by breeding. Thats so sad he had to go so young! It's very hard to lose a member of the family! Again, I'm very sorry! RIP beautiful Luther!~~ Please check out my dogs and leave a comment on them, thanks!

Luther was a beautiful boy. He looked like he was VARY special in your family. I am so sad that he passed away, at such a yound age. His parents could have been from puppy mills,and gave him a disease. He will be in your heat always. Rest your little soul in peace.
