Maddie is 2 years old. She is a purebred standard size daschund but, was the "runt" of a litter of 14 ! She weighs about 18 pounds. Small for her breed. people who can't tell the difference in the characteristics, body frame and features think she is a "big" miniature daschund ! She has a personality that is unbeatable and an attitude to match. lol
