After a long search, Maile was found on PetFinder. We picked her up a week after contacting the Yakima valley Pet Rescue in Washington. She has been found wandering the streets with her mother (who I am happy to say has also been adopted). It took her a couple of weeks but she has accepted her new humans and lovingly nips and our heels and chews on our stuff whenever she gets the chance. As of September 30, Maile has all her puppy vaccinations and knows a fair amount of the usual commands...sit, down, stay, heel, etc. She loves her pal Harper, another puppy that lives downstairs, who she plays with everyday.
