Maxwell was the best dog ever to have graced God's Earth. He loved to chase his frisbee and tear up a dirty pair of socks. My boy was a loyal companion, never more than a few feet from my side. Tender hearted and outgoing, he never met a soul he couldn't make smile. He unfortunately passed away in his sleep 1/21/10, losing his battle with canine lymphoma. He had just turned 7. Canine lymphoma is common in golden retrievers. It is a product of their over-breeding. I hope that Maxwell's story helps to shed some light on the tragic consequences of irresponsible breeding of pure breed dogs. He was my best friend and his passing leaves an enormous hole in my heart. I love you little boy.
