We met Minnie at the local shelter. I always wanted to adopt a puppy and for our Pomeranian Lacy to have a play buddy. She was a stray and shelter gave her a temporary name Fernanda that I thought did not fit her. I had to wait a week until I was allowed to take her home and I was visiting her every other day during my lunch break at work. Ever since I am her favorite person, I believe she remembered every visit. It only took Minnie and Lacy a few days to become best friends.
