All in the Family

Biography: Monty is the best dog ever. For real. Back in 2000 early one morning we let our cockapoo, Cuddles, out to do his business. Out of no where we saw this big wolf-type silhouette strolling up towards the door. Thinking Cuddles was in danger we screamed out to him to get him to come back in the house. Finally, the wolf-type got a little more light on him and we realized he was not a wolf at all but an amazingly awesome and super cute 1-year old doggie! Not knowing if this dog belonged to someone, we called the pound. We asked what would happen if no one claimed him and they said he would be put down after five days. Not wanting that to happen, we went and got Monty after the five days and he's been with us ever since. He's a huge cuddle buddy; always searching for affection. He's placed the job on himself to patrol the perimeter of the property and keep the house and chickens safe. His favourite toy is a deflated basketball that we kick around the yard. We've bought him other toys but this broken one seems to be best :) He loves food. Seriously, you just say "food" and he'll run to the fridge. We just adopted a new pup named Finnegan and Monty has certainly taken on a father role! Super cute..
