All in the Family

Biography: We brought Nookie home on Auguest 12, 1999. He is such a sweetie, but also will tell you when something is unacceptable! as a pup he LOVED to pick the flowers in the garden and run through the yard with them. he also loved to get clothes from the hamper and lay them out in the yard for all the neighbors to see what color Momma's underclothes were. As he became older we could see that he was lonely and so we rescued two females Neka and Suka,both girls were abused horribly and yet still love and trust humans...who is the boss even if no one thinks so or not!!!! Neka who we lost a year ago December 4, 2010...was a pure angel...was sick off and on from 2004...and lost her last battle with cancer still today the tears flow and always will. Nanook is also having some issues now, he is 12 1/2 and are waiting for tests to come back. Suka also has a seizuer disorder which she deals with like a champ!..Then in 2006 came Nicky from a horrible puppy mill, he is still shy of strangers, but loves all of us and his home. The abuse he suffered as a young pup will stay with him espaciually where strangers are concerened...but as with our other 3 fur babies he is given tons of love..loves to lay on the sofa with daddy,..and belly rubs from Momma and being part of the pack!
