This is in memory of Natosi 0ct. 26, 1993 to May 23, 2005. Mostly Timberwolf with some Malamute mixed in. Natosi came from a litter on 14 pups. His mother became sick so we adopted him when he was just three weeks old. Such a cute little pup! Natosi in his younger years LOVED to chew.(and that is putting it mildly) He chewed up a couch and a recliner. Rugs, Pillows, the remote to the TV and his favorite... many many Stuffed Animals. We still have the bentwood rocker he chewed the runners shorter on (its kinda like keeping your childs fingerprints you just have to watch you don't rock back to far) As he matured he started to roam. Any chance he got to sneak away (and he was good at sneaking) he would go to town. The first time (3 times in all) the cops brought him home in their cruiser (and I thought that feat would go to my son) I asks the cops where they found him and they said "He was just walking down Main Street!" Once he roamed over two mountains to meet a she wolf in a pen. After that a.m. and p.m. most everyday Natosi would howl and she would howl back. Natosi became Regal as he aged. He became the mediator. He had rules for all the other animals living in his household. No running in the house. No playing ball in the house. No chewing on Moms foot EVER.(Nanuk use to love to grab ahold of my foot and growl and shake his head Natosi would not allow it) Natosi was always so calm and quiet. Always watching. I would grab him and hug him and you could pet him but only for a little. He was above all that human stuff. Natosi we miss you and love you more than ever. Till we meet again. For you NATOSI
