All in the Family

Biography: Nygel was adopted from a couple in Sterling Heights Michigan on July 23rd 2004. They didn’t have enough time to spend with him but fortunately they loved him enough to give him to me. His name at that time was "BJ", so a name change was in order immediately. We flew home to Florida the same day that I got him - no chance of the "owner" taking him back. I knew that I had a lifelong friend as soon as he was in the car with me driving home from the Fort Myers airport that night. Nygel stayed in a Master Bedroom closet with us as Hurricane Charley ripped thru Charlotte County Florida on August 13th 2004. He had only been with us for 2 weeks at that time. Nygel is now 5 years old and we are a team. He is very well known in our neighborhood. Nygel is how we made many acquaintances in our new Florida home and many of these one- time acquaintances have become friends. I have never been lucky but if getting Nygel is the only lucky thing I encounter in my life I will consider myself to be a very lucky man.
