Running in circles determined to catch his tail, barking wildly at his own reflection in the oven and constantly finding something valued to chew up into tiny pieces-all this perfectly describes Oliver, my six month old Retriever mix I recently adopted from a local shelter. He loves everybody he meets and greets each new person (and animal) with lots of kisses and excitement. Quite a little handful, Oliver always keeps me on my toes. One minute he'll be quietly chewing a bone in the corner of his open kennel and the next minute you'll find him standing in front of a pile of fluff from a pillow or blanket you just happened to leave around. For such a small little guy, Ollie has so much love to give and I am truly blessed to have him in my life. He is my best friend and will always be my number one guy! Oliver enjoys eating peanut butter out of his giant Kong, squeaking his squeaky toys in the very middle of the night, and loves getting lots and lots of treats. Oliver dislikes his own reflection in the oven, having to sit still, and not getting his way. Luckily Ollie is not a picky eater as he'll eat ANYTHING! I mean really, you could feed him anything and he'll suck it up like a vacuum within seconds. Oliver also enjoys going to the dog park to make lots of canine (and human) friends, and snuggling when he's all tired out and ready for bed.
