Payton is my newest sheltie family member, not exactly the dog I was planning on adding, but apparently exactly the dog I was meant to add. He is a great little rockstar who loves to run and play, and thinks if he stops moving he may cease to exist. His favourite things include ripping chunks of grass up in the yard, playing with his big brother, eating leaves, destroying stuffed toys, jumping up and down, running laps in the backyard, and trying to bite my nose. I decided to name Payton after one of the greatest Chicago Bears of all time, #34 Walter Payton. So far he has lived up to Walter's nickname of "Sweetness," and is shaping up to be a great athlete... as long as he doesn't take those corners too sharp and end up on his back!
