All in the Family

Biography: Penny von Sickle is the most wonderful and happy 10 month old Shepherd/Lab mix. (our best guess) Penny is in a foster home with several other dogs, horses and donkeys. She loves every person or animal she ever meets....regardless of gender or size. Penny has had very little basic training but is a very quick learner. She understands "no" and "sit", is learning to walk on a leash and "come" when called. She is very strong and athletic...but after a play session is just as happy to flop down in the grass next to you. She plays with a ball and at some point learned to play fetch. Left on her own, Penny will hang near you in the yard and seeks out companionship. She wrestles and plays well with the other adult female shepherd at her foster home. Penny barks at the right time....she would be a perfect companion for a young couple who likes to hike or run on the beach...and a good "second dog" for another young shepherd or similar sized dog, though she is also good with smallers ones. Only her size and strength make it a better idea for her not to be in a home with small children or tiny dogs. She is a real sweetheart.
