Biography: Perseus or Percy for short has had a tough beginning. He was born with a birth defect that affected his heart, and he would have died if he didn't get the corrective surgery he needed. Because of this birth defect, he has failed to gain a lot of weight as a very young puppy, but now that he has had the surgery, he is starting to fatten up a little bit. Percy doesn't know or acknowledge that he recently had a major surgery; he loves to run around and play with his younger brother, Orion, and eat ice cubes when the weather gets hot. He is wary of strangers unlike Orion but he is a real sweetheart and has never attacked or bitten anybody (except Orion when they are playfighting). He is also extremely intelligent and knows how to find his way home when we go on walks; he also knows a lot of basic commands. Overall Percy is a big baby and loves nothing more than having his tummy rubbed in the shade on a hot summer day. Percy is currently up for adoption at www.gsroc.org.
