OMG! A BOYKIN SPANIEL! We had a completely beloved boykin who was the light of our lives(along with our other wonderful pets!) for 13 yrs. He got a really bad case of cancer. But he outlived the vet's prognosis by 2 1/2 yrs. One of his fave hobbies was eating ANYTHING off the floor, especially inedibles, like kleenex, knee-highs, pantyhose, etc. He also loved to jump up on the pine trees in the back yard! And bark his ferocious(not!) bark at the same time. He was so lovable, loyal, and incredibly entertaining! We still miss him VERY much. Boykins are very special dogs, yes, they are.
