Piper came into my life at 3 weeks old. He is #4 out of 8 and the only tri in the litter, his mom is merle, dad is black & white. It was the longest 5 weeks in my life waiting to bring him home. It was love at first site!!! He first introduction to herding was at 8 weeks old when he tried to herd my sisters chicken's once he realized her dogs wouldn't hurt him. He was introduce to sheep at 9 months. I take him to work sheep as much as possible. He is waiting for me to buy him his own sheep, In the meantime he refines his skills on flocks of wild geese, wild turkey's, seagulls at the beach, goat's and chicken's. Piper is my second Border Collie "Charlie" was my first who passed on in 2001. What an amazing breed; I could go on forever about my babies!!!
