All in the Family

Brussels Griffon

My fiance's sister rescued Princess a few years ago. She saw an ad on Craig's List posted by a Grandma who said that her grandkids were being really mean to this dog and she knew it wasn't a good home for Princess. She said she wasn't getting fed regularly, she had a dresser dropped on her, and she was often neglected. When we rescued Princess she was a little less than 3 lbs with chunks of hair missing. She was constantly shaking and seemed very shy and timid. However, she never barked and was always so sweet. She lived in my fiance's parent's house for about six months, but then he bought a house and she moved in with us. We know she loves it here :) My fiance and I work seperate shifts, so someone is always home with her. Also, the Grandparents are always visiting and bring her treats and are showering her with a lot of TLC. Princess is the sweetest pup we could ever ask her. She never barks, is so good about going potty outside, and is always there to cuddle! She is so adorable and does the funniest things--like she sits up straight or will walk on her two back legs for long distances!! She is always bringing a smile to our face and we are so happy to be able to give her a happy and healthy life (she is now the ideal weight at 8lbs and her coat is thick and beautiful). We are so happy to have Princess in our family!
