Puckie the Boy

Born in Missouri on July 29, 1996, to Baron von Bomber and Buttons, Puckie the Boy moved to New York City at the age of three months to dedicate himself to the fine arts, world peace, and gourmet dining. After studies at Vancouver Dog Training, he earned his American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certification, and attended day camp at Canine Ranch on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Participating for twelve consecutive years in the American Cancer Society’s Dogswalk vs. Cancer, he raised well over $5000. A regular at New York City Opera, he has also appeared at venues including the Metropolitan, Santa Fe, Glimmerglass, Seattle, Nevada, and Virginia operas, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Bard Festival, Berkshire Choral Festival, Crested Butte Festival, and New Jersey Symphony, and toured in France, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, and Estonia. His favorite foods included cheese, eggs, bananas, cabbage, peanut butter, watermelon, and all varieties of meat. He was passionately opposed to skateboards, big hair, and neocons. Puckie proudly made his stage debut in the anti-war opera AIDA in Berkeley, CA. Though he appeared in a non-singing role, he possessed a clarion tenor voice and vocalized frequently. He once almost caught a live chicken. Puckie went to the Rainbow Bridge on December 12, 2009.

He was blessed to have such a wonderful forever home. Hugs from Oliver & Henry, and their Mum, in London, Ontario.
