All in the Family
Killer Sunshine Baby Emma Bella Cooper

Australian Shepherd

This is Rambo. He passed away a couple of years ago and is still missed just the same. He passed at the age of 12 from liver cancer. We were forced to put him down because he was getting weaker everyday. I still remember as the fluid's of the needle started emptying in his body and as his eyes closed. His tail was wagging the whole time and he stared into my eyes. For years he has been my brother and I still miss him so much. I bet he's hopping happily over the rainbow bridge right now as I write. Miss you big guy!

The adult and puppy pictures are different. I think I've seen the puppy pictures on here or on Flickr. The markings on the adult pictures are way difefrent to those on the puppy.

It's the same dog. It's my dog. He's not on Flickr and i'm sure of it! He did get darker as he got older but his markings never changed, his fur got a little longer too so it might have changed a little, but he is my dog...Well used to be :(

And ps: As dog's age their markings to change.

Hehe :) Not to interrupt this but I agree with 4pupworld. 2 of my dog's markings changed and one's color changed. Buddy had a white marking on his forehead and on his toes, as he got older they faded and not his markings on his toes are only around his nails. My boy Uno got lighter, and Shadow's tan markings became barely visible as his fur grew. He looks all black now! And im sorry for ur loss he was a cute boy :(

Awww, Rambo was such a cute and sweet looking boy! I still remember the day we had our Lucky put to sleep, and she kept looking into my eyes too- it was one of the saddest days of my life! But, it sure sounds like you gave Rambo a great life and that he was well-loved!

I had an aussie.. his coat got much darker as well

I'm sure They can't change that much. When he's older, his legs are put white and have no markings. Yet when he's a puppy, his legs are merle. I could be wrong, but I doubt he changed that much. You have pictures of him in between his puppy hood and adult hood, just post a few of them. :-)

pets are such a blessing. It's hard to make the decision to put them down. You were doing the best thing for him and unselfishly putting him first! He was beautiful!

BTW...dogs do not always look like they do when they are puppies!!!!! Daisy was pure black and white as a she has alot of silver in her!

As a DP moderator and dog expert, I have seen the photos on this dog and have come the same opinion as Denvir. The pup and the adult dogs are different. Clearly not the same dog. We are trying to weed out fake profiles and this is clearly one. Look at the nose, the eyes and the merle on the legs. Those do not change!
