Richie was the second Seeing-Eye puppy we raised. He was a wonderful, loving, somewhat stubborn puppy, and we missed him when he was placed by the Seeing Eye, but we knew he would be a great guide. We turned out to be very lucky, though, because the person he was placed with ended up working at the Seeing Eye in outreach, and we met him at a puppy meeting. After Richie had a wonderful life traveling all over the world representing the Seeing Eye, he has been given back to us for his retirement. He is as sweet as ever, and enjoying his retirement immensely. We feel so lucky to have the chance to have him back and love him more than ever!
