Thank you both, Jan & Cuddles! I'm trying to get other pics up, but I've been having difficulty uploading . .. weird. But our Rollie is doing so well - we've had him for 2 weeks. And it's great to "meet" another Hav owner! This was a breed that we selected after a lot of research on the best fit for our lifestyle. We've absolutely fallen in love with the Havs. Originally we were debating between my husband's favorite breed - the Basset, and a breed I LOVE the mini Schnauzer. But the Havanese was the best match and I'm already thinking about having more! (but not till Rollie is grown up - one puppy is ENOUGH!).

Yay! Another Havanese owner!! How old is Rollie now? My Yoshi is 4 months :) by the way he is really cute!!

What a handsome little pup!!! As a Havanese owner, I have seen all of those poses when mine was a pup...Rollie will bring you such happiness and tons of laughter as they are such silly little pups. Mine loves the belly rubs too. The breed is so easy to train as long as you use positive reinforcement...don't yell or raise your voice as they are extremely sensitive to tonal changes in your voice. One work of caution...CRATE train Rollie...Havanese can suffer from severe separation anxiety if no one is home...they may be little but they can be a bit destructive if left on their own for even a short period of time. Best of luck to you and Rollie. You will be so happy having a life filled with the unconditional love of a Havanese!!!!
