All in the Family

Biography: Rudy came from a no-kill shelter outside of Seattle, where he'd been dropped off by a family who'd originally taken him at a "free puppies" giveaway. After he started to grow and become more active, they couldn't handle the responsibility of a puppy. Their bad decision was our good fortune, as Rudy is an awesome little guy who's brought much happiness to our little family. He and his big sister Pokey (from the same shelter) have become inseparable, and they can usually be found wrestling or cuddling with each other. The term "good-natured" has been used by many to describe Rudy, and it's fitting. He's quite mellow (except when wrestling!), loves to be around both dogs and people, and doesn't get upset over things. We think Rudy is probably a mix of Boxer, Pit Bull, German Shepherd, and perhaps Basenji, since he has a curly tail and makes very entertaining yodeling noises when playing. Whatever his heritage, he's a one-of-a-kind puppy, and we're lucky to have him!
