I am so sorry that you lost Rusty. Losing a loving canine companion is one of the toughest things. It takes great courage and sacrifice to let them go, and to end their suffering. You take their pain away, but you also take on pain for yourself. Rusty looks like he was a wonderful fellow. Hopefully Gizmo will help to heal the wound in your heart.

I...I'm so sorry. I remember when I commented on him and he was still alive. It came as a shock to me when I went on and saw he had died.

I cry as I type this :o( I am sooo very sorry for your loss of Rusty. He is so much like my beloved Beau. He also had a cancerous tumor and we had to put him to sleep... extremely painful to say good-bye, but not as painful as not having that opportunity to say good-bye (like with my Snowy). My heart breaks for you in a million pieces right now, especially because it was so recent. May God comfort you.

oh im soo sorry! ive recently lost a dog also and i know its the hardest thing... they make such a big imprint on our live its hard to not be selfish and think of ourselves to keep them here on earth with us, until you see there loving face in pain your bestfriend having trouble and you know what you have to do.. it is a terrible burden to loose a best friend... i had my dog for over 7 years we rescued him and he was about 4 in his ending days he had a cough and we brought him into the vet.. we found out he had lung cancer... a few days later he had a siezure and i was out of town it was late at night and my step mom bieng a vet tech took him to her work and had him euthinized i found out the next day and could not stop crying for my life!! im so sorry!! he was beautiful he is always there with you and should remember that he was special and is always watching over you dear. he loves you and must have had an undening bond with you! he is god-blessed do not worry about hi up in doggie heaven you will meet again someday!!! :) Rae_love RIP Rusty!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Rusty!! It's hard to put down a dog. My mom had a BIG problem when she had to put down her Chiuahua, Tina. I couldn' imagine putting down any of my dogs but sometimes it's for the best!! Rusty will be missed!!

What a sweet and handsom boy. R.I.P. old friend.Give my blue boy and sheena girl a puppy kiss from there mom. They all are happy and rumping pain free. Mine were(boy) Husky and (girl) malamute. It really sucks and hurts bad when this happens and only us dog people can truly understand what another dog owner is going through. I got my nephews golden when he was deployed to Iraq. She was the runt of the litter. So she is only about the size of a cocker but has a heart so big. She is a real joy and was my rock when i had my blue boy put down.Just trust that one day you and your rusty will reunite again.
