My family and I adopted Sabina from a local SPCA, after the sudden death of our beloved Maltese. We're not exactly sure what she is breed-wise. Her shelter papers say she is a GSD X Red Heeler; however, many believe she is a Carolina Dog [North American Dingo X Sighthound] (as was "confirmed" by a reputable 'CD' breeder). [I have been telling people she is a Carolina Dog, when they ask, as that is what I truly believe she is.] Sabina is a very active lady. She loves going for early morning swims in our pond right before coming to wake me up (which is a rude awakening for me). She is a huge Frisbee fanatic, loves to play-wrestle, herds our chickens, likes going for runs, and after a hard day of running around, loves to settle down as a [rather big]lap dog. Going from a 6lb dog to a 55lb dog was a huge jump for us; however Sabina has settled into our home wonderfully and has truly become a valuable and loved member of our family.
