My dog Sage Honey is the love of my life and my best friend. I adopted her about 6 months ago as I was looking for a dog that could go on runs with me. Sage Honey is half chihuahua and half small Italian Greyhound and weighs about 6 pounds. I rescued her from a shelter in Arizona while I was visiting my aunt. When I first saw her I had an instant connection with her and knew she was the dog for me. At first the shelter said she was un-adoptable because she failed the "adoptable" test and she was going to be euthanized for being to timid. My heart broke and I begged them to let me have her and so they did. Sage Honey came into my life when I needed her most and I refer to her as my healing dog. She is the sweetest dog and I am so grateful to have her in my life. :-)
