This is Sage. My husband and I got Sage at our local shelter. We were going there to look at a different puppy, but he was already being adopted so we decided to check out the other puppies and dogs. When I saw Sage I new she was the one. We were very indecisive about the name for our new puppy. We tried Sora & Bailey the first night, but they didn't seem to fit, so by the next morning we came up with Sage. Sage loves being outdoors and going for walks. She seems to love autumn and chasing leaves. She proudly carried around a large leaf during one of our walks =) She is very energetic and doesn't understand why our cats don't want to play with her. She is a very sweet and happy puppy =)

Hey! Beautiful, beautiful dog! You should check out my profile and my dog, Bear. They look so much alike! I got him from a family whose Bernese Mountain Dogs had puppies and a few out of the litter had brown base coats instead of black. I'm not sure if there was a mix down the line, but I had always thought he had to be part Aussie! Anyways, wish you and Sage many happy years :)

What a pretty little face Sage has! I love her markings, and i would ask what she is mixed with, but you don't know... And I personally think that's great you rescued her from a shelter. To think this gorgeous puppy was from a shelter! Her markings are so beautiful-kind of like my Aussie Amber. My Amber is a pure bred Australian Shepherd, and she is a Red Tri, sort of like Sage. I have another named Bella, and she is a blue merle. They are just the best breed ever. And more about Sage: Her name. Wow! I just love it! I showed my whole family Sage, and they all agreed that we would consider out next Aussie named Sage. And congratulations on making the front page today little girl!
