Sammie was born on July 12th, 2008. One night we drove almost an hour away down numerous dirt roads to pick her up. We thought we were going to be able to pick from a huge litter but when we arrived there was just one brown fuzzy puppy running in the front yard. I couldn't say no to her. Ever since we brought her home she has been a joy. She is very mellow for a puppy. We can't get over how much she has taught us already about life. Sammie loves to play with her toys... especially a pair of keys made by Nylabone. She is also really in to eating little ice cubes. Sammie has a sensitive stomach and can not have treats. She loves to play in the snow and try to catch it. We can not wait until the warmer weather to take her to the lake.
