I found Sammy from a Petfinder.com. He had 9 brothers & sisters and the rescue center said he was the leader of the pack. I needed that because my 8 year old cat is afraid of everything. Sammy is a Cheagle (Beagle and Chihuahua mix). I get stopped all the time because people want to pet him and he loves people. So it just works out so well. I couldn't imagine my life without him and I've only had him for about 5 weeks :)

Oh, Sammy is just darling! You are very lucky to have him. We love that he is a "Cheagle". We've never heard of a Chi/Beagle. They sure are adorable! Thank you so much for adopting him on PetFinder. I bet he loves you for that, and for just being a great owner! We hope that he can become the Daily Puppy because he deserves a day in the spotlight. We wish you many long years of happiness with Sammy.

what a cute pup, and such a nice writeup. i also love the combination - i kinda like Chihueagle (as in, cha-weegle) or maybe Beahuahua (bee-wa-wa). either way, he looks like a wonderful pup and i'm glad you have a new member of the family :-)

Very cute, I'm glad you rescues...but being a chi/beagle mix doesn't make him a "cheagle". It makes him a cute lil mutt. A mutt is a great thing to be, why not call him that?
