We adopted Samson from the Jasper County Humane Society after I saw him and simply couldn't pass up a shepherd. (Sam's mother was a pure bred German Shepherd and also a seeing eye dog, but we are unsure of what his father was) The day before we adopted him, my husband and I happened to watch I am Legend and couldn't get the name Sam off of our minds. Sam is a rambunctious little fellow, as are all GSDs, but is full of love. He loves to play and wrestle with his sister Sadie and to cuddle and sleep with his brother Truman. He has also become a frisbee fanatic like his uncle Dallas. Sam used to speak what sounded like Vietnamese but as he has gotten older he has seemed to have forgotten it, although he continues to make all sorts of high pitched noises while playing with his toys.
