Shadow is a 10 year old German Shepherd Dog who is also a rescue. She had been terribly abused and neglected and was literally at death's door when her previous 'owners' surrendered her to an animal rescue group. She was 5 years old when she came to live with us and has come soooooo far in the last 5 years! It took her a long time to realize that we loved her and were not going to hurt her. She trusts us completely and offers us her unconditional love and protection. She can be silly and playful with Boomer one minute and regal and refined the next. She is our "Shadow-Bella"!

Wow! What a beautiful dog family you have! The mascot at the school where I teach is the Husky. They are magnificent animals!

Wow, poor Shadow really had it rough before she was rescued. She's so beautiful, it's heartbreaking to think someone would mistreat her. Bless you for giving her a good life! Happy birthday to her!
