Sheyenne von Kern is a gentle and sweet 2.5 year old Shepherd mixed with a smaller breed. We rescued her from a field with her puppies a while ago. Her pups have long been adopted and Sheyenne has learned to trust people more and more by living in a foster home. She's still very shy of people, but absolutely LOVES other dogs, no matter what size. She has learned to walk on leash and looks forward to her walks every day. She's also housebroken as long as she has access to the outside. She would love a home where there are other dogs, maybe a ranch, farm or a home with a big yard she could hang out induring the day and play with her canine friends. Sheyenne also would like a fence at least 6 feet high so she's not tempted to visit the neighbor's yard to mingle with the dogs or do some exploring. She has lost her foster home because of personal issues in the family and we hate to see her in boarding. Her owners need to be patient and give her time to adjust, but we always say: this is what rescue is all about. Special people helping special needs dogs. Do you have a little spot at your place for this sweet, deserving girl? No cats for her though.
